Frequently Asked Questions
- What should I wear for my try out?
Workout attire is best (for example: rashguard, dry fit t-shirt, regular t-shirt, shorts, or yoga pants). PLEASE NO BUTTONS OR ZIPPERS! These may damage the mat or our skin during training. Flip flops, Crocs or shoes which slip on/off easily are best. Don't forget to bring some water! :)
- When can I try out?
Tryouts are currently accepted Monday - Thursday only. You must contact us to book your first day. Please call, text, message, or email us to schedule yours!
- What can I expect in an average class?
Most classes typically include a warm up, technique, and live training (sparring or rolling).
- How are differing experience levels addressed within the same class?
Most of our classes are open to all experience levels. Our coaches do their best to pair partners up appropriately by size, experience level, and age (for kids classes). Of course, this will depend on who attends the class, but our coaches are seasoned athletes, competitors, and teachers who understand what will work best for the students.
